This is a fine cotton tape which feels like paper. "Gima" literally means "fake linen" in Japanese. Suitable for knitting, it also makes a beautiful warp & weft yarn for weaving. It looks lovely in stockinette stitch, seed stitch or garter. Like linen, it may feel crunchy at first but it will soften with wear and washing.
Dry clean or hand wash.
